Make My Monday - Puppy Survives Losing His Marbles

Tucker had an appointment with Dr. Tucker the vet. Yep, time to lose the little puppy making items that some call balls. Tucker is only 8 lbs., so balls might be a tad exaggerated. I think marbles might be a better metaphor. Just sayin'. I also had him chipped...in case he gets away...slippery little guy.

PS. Tucker and I support 8against8 who are raising $8000 for the No on Prop. 8 in California over 8 days. Go donate a buck or two or 8 (or more) to the cause if you can. Or at least pass on the info. Tucker wants a second mommy...of course that would require a girlfriend first. But you know how it is with 5 month olds...so idealistic...heh.

Yeah...personally I can live without marbles...but poor Tucker to have some of his boy bits taken away. I don't see why they can't just do a vasectomy instead of major surgery...

oh poor guy. Glad he did well. Is he doing good not bothering his stiches?

Lost...well mostly he's been good. He's licking occasionally, but not much. It only looks like a couple of stitches were used anyway. Not as bad as his pal Rufus who had multiple stitches since he was 18 months old when he was fixed...poor guy spent a week pressing his stitches to the back of toilet this summer...he only got better after meeting Tucker! Tucker the Therapy Dog!

I'm always happy to hear about people havig their dogs neutered. Intact male dogs are so much more aggressive.

Citizen...he's regressed a bit this week as a result. Potty boo boos on the carpet several times this week (although I did kind of ignore him on two occasions when he was sitting by the door...oops). Also biting on me more than usual...though not hard. I have a friend who's dog got more aggressive after the neutering. Although I think it's more that he more hyper. We'll see how Tucker does over the next few weeks...
