Weyrd, I responded to your comment at my place about posse comitatus/martial law complete with hyperlinks and a thoughtful response. Alas, it went lost in the tubes. The main point is that so very many 'controls' and bizarre 'laws' have been put in place since BushCo has been in power, it wouldn't surprise me if the shit hit the fan before the end of the Bush error.
The most compelling bit is NSPD-51. Essentially it says the prez can do whatever he wants whenever he wants without any oversight in regards to "a national emergency" which is defined by him, anywhere in the world. This nonesense has to stop.

Hope...do ya really have to ask ME to vote Democratic!?! I know, I know...it's for all my OTHER readers...heh. I'm sure most, but not all will vote Democratic. And btw, Bush's latest tactic is to push through a bunch of deregulations...like stuff that will ruin the environment and will take a lot of effort to repeal...sigh.
OMG I know. Bush is hands down worst president ever. Not happy with his 19% approval rating he has to take it out on the rest of the country, not to mention, the rest of the world. I cannot express in words the depth to which I despise that man and his minions. May we all get through the most difficult time in the history of our country since its very inception.
Rainy Saturday so I took the test: 91% Pure Nerd. Yeah, I knew.
