Make My Monday - A Woman's Turn

If you read Sunday's Surf, you saw a man's Craig's List Ad, selling his 1964 model wife (for $500 or a trade up to a 1984 model) and metaphorically describing her like a run down car. Over at Feministing the readers are commenting away about the misogyny of it all. As I said, I took it more in the vein of stand up comedy and saw the humor in the ad the same way I would when a woman hits a man where it hurts, if done in an equally humorous way. Oddly enough, in today's episode of Lesbian Pirates from Outer Space we have an example of a woman's approach to putting a man in his place.
