Here's the white wine I promised. This Californian blend is nice and crisp and good with leftover turkey as well as chicken burritos. The blend includes Semillion, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Pinot Grigio. It can be had for just under $10.00, although I got it for about $8.00. As with most of the white wines I've reviewed, it's fairly easy on the palate and slightly sweet.
Here are some tasting notes that were pretty much what I found:
"Light-to-medium bodied, with with floral, citrusy accents on the nose, ripe citrys, peach and pear flavors on the plate, with a fruity yet crisp finish. This wine is easy to drink and lends itself to light appetizers before dinner, pairing well with a wide range of dishes."
Enjoy!

I think my favorite white wine would be one with hints of snowmelt, laughter and happy thoughts.
Jannie...hmmm it's possible that the folks making Insatiable were intending something like that... If you try it and think so, let me know.
how much of a snob does it make me the fact that I say this wine name in French and not in English?...
Nice review as always ;)
I always find it funny when a wine is descriebd as "easy to drink." As if you would waste your time with one you had to choke down.
(So, not a Ani fan? she asks seemingly out of the blue.)
Gentleman...I think I would love to hear you say that in French...with an Italian accent...heh.
Citizen...snicker about choking it down... I like Ani. I actually don't own any of her CD's though. And I've never been to one of her concerts. I have to say that alot of her stuff sounds the same even if the words are different.
Isn't Ripple supposed to be "Easy to Drink"?
dmarks...Ripple makes me gag, so no...lol
I really enjoy the marketing design for the label on this bottle I was at the Le Cork and Wine store today looking for some of your suggestions, but we really dont have much of what you've reviewed on yet....oh well, I picked up a new Reisling to try and will have it tonight when April gets home :o)
J...hopefully you'll find something...lol
